Our villa is a beautiful and comfortable vacation rental, perfect for families and groups of friends. We understand that planning a vacation can be stressful, which is why we aim to provide you with a hassle-free booking experience.

Our terms and conditions are in place to ensure the safety and comfort of our guest and to ensure that both you and our villa are well-cared for throughout your stay. We encourage you to read through them before booking.

Reservation and damage deposit

To secure your reservation and start your amazing holiday, a payment of 100% of the total cost of the villa is required! Once your booking has been processed, you will receive an email with the reservation confirmation and all the details. Please read this carefully and do not hesitate to contact us at info@villamaravilla.com if you have any questions!
You can easily pay with all major credit cards, bank transfer, PayPal, credit cards (Visa, MasterCard and American Express) or bank transfer. Feel free to ask for our bank details! By making the payment you accept our cancellation policy. For cancellations up to 12 weeks before the reservation date, up to 50% will be refunded. If you cancel within 12 weeks of your arrival, your payment will be retained.
A security deposit of 500 EUR is required by bank transfer no later than 1 week before your arrival. You will receive the details from our agent BIG Investimentos LTDA. Rest assured that a full refund will be issued within 7 business days of your check-out date, provided everything is in perfect condition!

Number of Guests, Children and Pets

At Villa Mar-a-Villa, we can comfortably host up to 10 adults and 2 children aged 0-8 years. A list of names birth dates for all guests staying at the property will be required before your arrival date, and our concierge or property administrator will contact you via email.
Pets are permitted at the villa upon request, and additional fees will apply for each pet.
Check-in and Check Out times

You can check-in until 3 PM, and check-out should be done by 12 AM at the latest.
Changes to Reservations

We understand that sometimes things come up and plans change. That's why we have a simple and straightforward process for changing your reservation at Villa-Mar-a-Villa. Just send your request in writing to info@villamaravilla.com and we'll work with you to make the necessary changes subject to availability.
Please note that changes are subject to availability and must be acknowledged and resolved before they can be confirmed. Cancellations up to 12 weeks prior to the reservation date will be refunded up to 50%.
Cancellation of the Reservation of Activities

We understand that canceling your plans can be disappointing, but our holiday rental is here to assist you. We offer service cancellation for your convenience; however, please note that our villa works with local third-party providers for activity services, having their own cancellation policies for which we cannot be held accountable. If you need to cancel a service, Please contact us, and we will work with provider to ensure your cancellation is handled correctly.
When booking local activities services, please note that any changes must be made with at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. Please note that any rescheduling will be based on availability at the respective local service provider. We regret that we cannot offer refunds for cancellations and we cant assume any liability for any claims arising from use, change or cancellations of any activities from any of the local service providers. Its the usual market practice that no-shows will be charged at the full rate. For payment of third-party activities services, bank transfer is required before arrival. Please contact us for further banking details at info@villamaravilla.com.

No liability for travel arrangements and accidents during the stay at the Villa

Requests for changes to your reservation must be made in writing to info@villamaravilla.com and confirmed as received to acknowledge and resolve your request; We will endeavour to accommodate your request subject to availability.
If your requested changes to the reservation can not be accomodated, the villa will assume no liability for any cost incurred by cancellation or change of your travel arrangements to the villa, such as but not limited to flights, bus or train costs. Please note that we do not provide refunds for canceled arrangements. We recommend obtaining Travel Insurance covering such costs.
Villa Mar-a-Villa is not responsible for lost personal belongings. Children and animals must be supervised by an adult at all times, and we can not be held liable for any accidents in the pool, garden, or villa.
Villa Administration

Our administrator, BIG Investimentos LTDA is reponsible for the administration and management of the property and the rentals. If you should need any additional information or further clarification on any of the terms of conditions set out here in please check out our rental agreement.
